House Of Fraser Blogger Style Challenge

So I was sent an email a few days ago from a lovely man, telling me all about the House Of Fraser Blogger Style Challenge. It's just like the ASOS £100 Challenge, except this time... there is no price limit!
I'm starting to love these types of compeitions, putting together your own look, saying why you love it. It makes it so much more personal to you, rather than answering a quesion or doing a quiz..
You can find the information and rules about the challenge right here.
And now onto my outift!
I saw this dress and fell in love! The lace, the cut, the belt. It's delicious! So I thought I'd keep it simple shoewise and go for some nice black wedge heels. I'm loving the shoes like these just now, so many different designs and they just look like right good wee summer shoes. I'll definitely need to invest in a pair soon, there's only so long I can wear my Skechers wedges before I get bored! ;)

I didn't want any jackets, scarves or cardigans weighing this outfit down or hiding any of the dress so I've decided not to add any to my look.

Jewellery wise, I've kept it simple, again so as not to detract from the actual outfit but merely add a bit off shiny to accompany it. Let's be honest, who doesn't love a bit of shiny!

I love this bangle. It's so simple yet such a statement piece. The earrings, I think are divine! Lovely bit of sparkle to add to my look.

I wish I knew how to edit these pictures together so that the items for my look were all in one big picture together but alas, I know not how.

So the prices are as follows -
  • Untold Lace Dress with belt NOW £68
  • Steve Madden Court Platform Wedges  £75
  • L.K Bennett Twisted Cuff  £125
  • Martine Webster Lotus Flower Earrings £45
Total outfit cost is... £313. Wow. When you don't have a limit, those prices sure do creep up!

I think this is a great outfit for maybe a fancy meal, christmas day dinner or if you're having a night out and want to look downright fabulous! I'll be honest, if I could, I'd do my shopping in this outfit!

I know there isn't much to this look but I like it like that, there aren't too many things drawing your eyes away. Just four pieces that you can easily focus on. The dress taking centre stage of course! (Can you tell I love it?)

So this has been great to put together, like I said earlier, I love competitions like this! Have you entered? Leave your link if you have. If you haven't, do you think you will now?
